Côte d’Ivoire Delegation Completes Successful Audit Mission in China

A Côte d’Ivoire delegation, including representatives from the Ministry of Trade & Industry and Cotecna, carried out a mission to China last December to reinforce the Verification of Conformity (VOC) program and explore new collaboration opportunities.  

The visit combined technical audits, operational reviews, and strategic meetings to reinforce the current operations and explore new opportunities for collaboration. 

During the mission, the audit delegation engaged in detailed technical discussions with Cotecna China teams regarding spare parts files. These exchanges were considered effective and enabled the auditors to confirm compliance with applicable regulatory and authority requirements. 

The delegation also visited TOBY Laboratories in Shenzhen, attended a physical inspection at PATTERN NEW, and toured Canton Tower in Guangzhou, gaining practical insights into Cotecna’s processes.

Key highlights of the visit also included Cotecna China’s presentation of its organizational structure and VOC services as well as strategic engagements that were led by Cotecna’s regional manager Antoine Anney, who also met with NUCTECH, a leading manufacturer of scanning technologies, to explore areas of collaboration.

Authorities praised the mission’s outcomes, noting enhanced confidence in Cotecna China’s compliance processes, strengthened Côte d’Ivoire’s VOC program, and new avenues for cooperation in trade facilitation and regulatory alignment.
