Cotecna COO Romain Petit and VP LATAM Business Group, Roberto Cordero visited Argentina and AGS Lab in Chile

The Cotecna teams from Argentina, and AGS laboratory, part of the Cotecna Group, welcomed Romain Petit, Chief Operating Officer and Roberto Cordero, VP LATAM Business Group, in their visits to these countries.  

In Argentina, Romain and Roberto visited the Buenos Aires Headquarters, where they engaged with the local teams on key topics, including overall performance, economic concerns, opportunities and challenges in the agribusiness sector. They discussed strategies aligned with Cotecna’s global vision, to strengthen Cotecna’s market presence, operational efficiency, and service quality. Their visit also included insightful meetings to review 2024 performance, outline business expectations for 2025, and define action plans to address challenges and drive growth in the sector. Additionally, they met with one of Cotecna’s key clients, the Asociación de Cooperativas Argentinas (ACA), a major grain originator and exporter in Argentina. 

During their visit to the AGS laboratory, in Coquimbo, Chile, Romain and Roberto had the opportunity to witness the lab’s operations and gain firsthand insight into its processes. They also toured the construction site of the new concentrate laboratory that will soon be inaugurated and will further enhance AGS’s capabilities. As part of their agenda in Chile, they met with key clients, reinforcing Cotecna’s commitment to strong partnerships in the region. Additionally, alongside Alejandro Figueroa, AGS General Manager, and César Gutierrez, Business Development Manager, LATAM Metals and Minerals, they conducted a comprehensive review of Cotecna Chile’s growth strategy and discussed opportunities for expanding the Minerals & Metals (M&M) business across LATAM.
