Cotecna Fall Farmer Platform: Helping Canadian Producers Grade, Store and Sell Smarter

Cotecna Canada is pleased to officially introduce the Cotecna Fall Farmer Platform (CFFP), a comprehensive solution designed to support Canadian Prairie producers with reliable crop quality assessment, secure sample management, and expert guidance when it matters most. 

Built around the concept Grade · Store · Sell Smarter, the CFFP brings together independent grading, laboratory analysis, and secure sample storage in one platform, supporting confident decisions from harvest through marketing and into the next planting season. 

The platform is designed to fit harvest realities, offering simple sample drop-off at any time, optional pre-arranged pickup, and transparent per-acre pricing to keep costs predictable. Producers enrolled in the program also benefit from priority turnaround during harvest, ensuring timely access to quality results when decisions need to be made quickly. 

Through the CFFP, producers receive independent, industry-recognized grading reports, aligned with CGC standards and, upon request, US standards. Additional insights include frost and mildew rankings for wheat and durum, canola oil content measured using NIR technology, and chickpea sizing based on producer requirements, with discounted testing available for Falling Number and Vomitoxin. 

To support marketing opportunities, the platform includes secure sample storage for one full crop year and optional distribution of samples to potential buyers. With the producer’s consent, buyers can access a database of verified farms and graded crops, improving visibility and helping connect quality with demand more efficiently.
