Cotecna Kenya wins EAMA for Best Auxiliary Services

Cotecna Kenya recently won an EAMA award for being the best auxiliary service provider in the Kenyan maritime industry.

Cotecna Kenya recently won an EAMA (East Africa Maritime Awards) for Best Auxiliary Services.

EAMA aims to encourage quality service provision towards "a more collaborative approach to regional trade" from Kenya port users. Award winners are judged based on their ability to meet or surpass set Kenyan port regulatory standards.

Notably, EAMA is a Kenya Ports Authority initiative in collaboration with the Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade), Shippers Council of Eastern Africa (SCEA) and East African Business Council (EABC).

Cotecna is authorised by the Kenyan Bureau of Standards (KEBS) to issue Certificates of Conformity and Certificates of Inspection for regulated products exported to Kenya.

In line with this, EAMA recognised our Kenya branch for its stellar provision of auxiliary services including ship chandelling, pre-shipment inspection and more.
