Cotecna launches FSC Chain of Custody Certification services

Discover more about Cotecna’s latest service to certify products that originate from responsibly sourced forests.

Cotecna Inspection SA’s head office in Geneva has now been accredited by Assurance Services International (ASI) as a certification body for FSC Chain of Custody Certifications.

This voluntary certification allows organisations to demonstrate that the products they manufacture or sell are traceable back to responsibly managed forests.  Certificate holders can apply to use the FSC label on their products, enhancing their credibility as an organisation committed to sustainability, in a world where this is becoming a key requirement for consumers.

The FSC tree label is the world's most trusted mark for sustainable forestry and it can be found on millions or products around the world, recognisable by over 50% of consumers around the world.

This FSC video explains about the different types of labels:

“Cotecna has gradually expanded its sustainability certification service offerings in multiple geographies, and we are now pleased to announce this new accreditation directly managed from our central office in Geneva Switzerland. This will pave the way for future developments to serve industries and clients with high standards of quality as we aim and do at Cotecna.” Romain Petit, Chief Operating Officer.
