Cotecna Metals & Minerals Director Mark Houchin Visits Cotecna India

Cotecna India was pleased to welcome Mark Houchin, Metals & Minerals Operations Director at Cotecna, during his recent visit to India. Accompanied by Dr. Durgesh Sharma, CEO of Cotecna India & Sri Lanka, the visit provided an opportunity to connect with teams across key locations, gain insights into local operations, and strengthen collaboration across the business.

The visit included meetings with the leadership team at the Mumbai Head Office, as well as visits to our Barbil and Paradip offices and laboratories in Odisha and our Kandla office and laboratory, where Mark engaged with colleagues and learned more about the technical expertise and operational excellence that support our customers across the metals and minerals sector.

Mark and Dr. Sharma also visited the Adani KCL Plant in Gujarat, where they met with the laboratory team and Mr. Rahul Mali of Adani Enterprises. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to discuss industry developments, customer expectations, and the importance of strong partnerships.

Throughout the visit, discussions focused on sharing best practices, strengthening teamwork, and reinforcing Cotecna's commitment to delivering trusted inspection, testing, and certification services to the metals and minerals industry.
