Cotecna signs for the VOC Mandate Renewal in Côte d’Ivoire

Cotecna is proud to announce the official renewal of our mandate to operate the Verification of Conformity (VoC) program in Côte d’Ivoire, reaffirming our long-standing collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Promotion of SMEs. 

The renewal agreement was formally signed in Abidjan by Mr. Souleymane Diarrassouba, Minister of Trade, in the presence of key officials and representatives. This important milestone marks the continuation of a trusted public-private partnership aimed at ensuring compliance, protecting consumers, and facilitating smooth trade flows into the Ivorian market.

The renewed mandate has been extended for a period of five years, confirming Cotecna’s ongoing role in supporting the implementation of quality and safety measures for imported products. 

Under this expanded and renewed program, Cotecna remains authorized to perform conformity assessments on a wide range of regulated products being exported to Côte d’Ivoire. Our inspections, documentation reviews, and (when required) laboratory testing help ensure that imported goods meet applicable national, regional and international standards before entering the market. 

As a regional trade hub, Côte d’Ivoire plays a strategic role in West Africa’s supply chain. Cotecna is honored to continue contributing to its trade compliance infrastructure through efficient, reliable, and internationally recognized conformity assessment services.
