New Italian Organic Label Strengthens National Certification

The long-awaited national organic label is now a reality. Undersecretary Luigi D’Eramo, responsible for organic farming, confirmed to Agricolae that the Ministry is finalizing the Regulations required by law. Once approved by the State-Regions Conference, the label will be officially presented at a national event, followed by dedicated launches in every Italian region. 

“The aim,” explained D’Eramo, “is to highlight the value of Italian organic certification across the country. Each region has unique strengths, and this initiative will showcase both the quality of our products and the capacity of our certification system to support them.” 

This upcoming national label represents a significant step in promoting transparency, sustainability, and trust within Italy’s growing organic sector.
