Sebastien Dannaud and Roberto Cordero's Visits to LATAM Offices and Labs

The Cotecna teams in Peru and Brazil (including Agronômica) were delighted to welcome Cotecna’s CEO Sebastien Dannaud and LATAM VP Roberto Cordero during their visit to labs and offices in Lima, Sao Paulo, Santos, and Porto Alegre.  

Cotecna Brazil: São Paulo Head Office and Santos Laboratory 

The journey began in São Paulo, Brazil, where Sebastien Dannaud and Roberto Cordero met with the local teams to review the 2024 performance, discuss key challenges, and identify strategies to support and accelerate the strong growth of services and capabilities in Brazil. The visit also included a tour of Cotecna’s Santos laboratory, where they had the opportunity to witness the lab’s operations and meet the team behind the scenes. 

Agronômica: Porto Alegre and Santos Labs 

On December 10-11, they visited Agronômica's headquarters in Porto Alegre and its Santos laboratory.  

In Porto Alegre, the team presented an overview of the company’s services, including a video highlighting Brazilian agribusiness and its connection to Agronômica's work. A dynamic AI-driven demonstration showcased the company’s efforts in phytosanitary defence. Agronômica’s Director, Patrícia Teló, took the opportunity to recognize outstanding team members for their accomplishments in project management, innovation, and test development. The visit included a lab tour and a strategic meeting to discuss plans for 2025, focusing on innovation and growth opportunities, highlighting Agronômica’s commitment to excellence and reinforced its ongoing partnership with Cotecna. 

Cotecna Peru: Lima M&M Lab, Ocean Partners Annual Cocktail, and Visit to Pacific Control Lab 

On December 12-13, Sebastien and Roberto visited the M&M Lab in Lima, where they met with department heads to review operations. In the afternoon, they attended Ocean Partners' annual cocktail event, where they had the opportunity to network with key clients such as Lincuna, Norcobre, Alpayana, Hochschild, Chinalco, and CMC, among others, strengthening business relationships within the sector. On Friday, the team visited Pacific Control, a laboratory specializing in agriculture, environmental science, microbiology, and certifications, to discuss potential future projects. 

These visits reinforced the importance of collaboration and synergies across the Cotecna Group. By engaging with local teams and exploring operations, Sebastien Dannaud and Roberto Cordero emphasized Cotecna’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and sustainable growth, aligning teams toward shared goals and enhancing the Group’s ability to deliver exceptional services globally.
