Wimpey Laboratories Launches State-of-the-Art Molecular Testing Lab in Dubai, UAE

We are pleased to share that Wimpey Laboratories, part of the Cotecna Group, has launched a dedicated molecular testing laboratory, inaugurated by Dr Chandrajith, Wimpey Laboratories CEO & Cotecna Senior Director for Lab Management Services in the Middle East & Africa. 

The new lab expands Wimpey's testing scope with 200+ dedicated experts now working together on one floor. In addition to state-of-the-art equipment and the latest testing methodologies for DNA and RNA samples. 

The expansion also strengthens Wimpey’s position as a leading laboratory in the UAE and Middle East region, offering services globally. The new laboratory enables Wimpey to provide faster and more reliable testing services, including Halal verification for food and cosmetics, as well as non-Halal detection in food and feed samples. Services also cover meat species identification, pathogen detection, and DNA barcoding.
